Course Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026. These terms apply to all learners enrolled on the CCMTec Manual Handling for Cleaners online course.
1. Nature of the Course
The Manual Handling for Cleaners course is an awareness-level online training programme produced by CCMTec LTD. It is designed to provide cleaning professionals with a thorough understanding of manual handling risks, legal duties, safe technique, and injury prevention in line with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and HSE guidance.
This course does not constitute a formally accredited qualification. It is an assessed awareness course. Completion and certification are subject to satisfactory performance in the end-of-course exam as determined by CCMTec.
2. Access & Eligibility
- Access to course modules is granted upon purchase of the course product from the CCMTec online store.
- Access is granted to the individual purchaser only and is non-transferable.
- You must be aged 16 or over to enrol on this course.
- CCMTec reserves the right to withdraw access in cases of misuse, fraud, or breach of these terms.
3. Open-Book Assessment
The end-of-course exam is an open-book assessment. Learners may refer to course materials during the exam. However, all submitted answers must be the learner's own work. Submitting answers on behalf of another person, or copying answers verbatim without demonstrating understanding, is not permitted and may result in certification being withheld.
4. Certification
- A Certificate of Completion will be issued by CCMTec to learners who demonstrate satisfactory completion of the end-of-course exam.
- Certification is assessed, not automatic. CCMTec will review submitted exam answers and issue certificates at its discretion.
- If a submission does not meet the required standard, CCMTec will contact the learner with feedback. The learner is welcome to resubmit.
- CCMTec aims to review submissions and issue certificates within 5 working days of receipt.
- Certificates are issued in the name provided at the time of exam submission. CCMTec accepts no responsibility for errors in certificates arising from incorrect information provided by the learner.
5. Disclaimer
The content of this course is based on the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, HSE guidance documents, and current best practice at the time of publication. CCMTec LTD makes every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy and currency of course content.
However, CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for:
- Any injury, loss, or damage arising from actions taken or not taken based on the content of this course
- Any inaccuracy in course content arising from changes in legislation or guidance after the date of last review
- Any failure by a learner to apply course content correctly in their workplace
This course does not replace employer-led risk assessments, site-specific induction training, or professional health and safety advice. Learners are responsible for verifying that the content of this course remains applicable to their specific workplace and circumstances.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, including text, structure, and design, is the intellectual property of CCMTec LTD. Learners may not reproduce, share, resell, or distribute course content in any form without the prior written consent of CCMTec LTD.
7. Refunds
