Remote survey and pre-visit information
Gather photographs, site details and missing information before accepting a visit or promising a method.

A course certificate is not a permit to work
Online learning can improve assessment and professional judgement. It does not establish that a learner is competent to access a particular roof or carry out work on a particular solar installation.
Site-specific arrangements and competent people are required for work beyond the cleanerās training and remit. Where the required conditions cannot be confirmed, the professional response is to stop and escalate.
This course does not authorise
Roof access, work at height, electrical isolation, handling electrical components, structural assessment, roof repairs or solar-equipment repairs. Those activities require their own appropriate competence and controls.

The final assessment will use realistic scenarios rather than simple recall. Learners must distinguish a viable cleaning scope from a job that needs more information, different controls or a specialist referral.

Do I need to complete the original bird-fouling course first?
It is the recommended foundation. Equivalent training and practical experience are also acceptable, provided you already understand bird-fouling hazards, assessment, controlled removal and waste handling.
Will this qualify me to work on a roof or solar installation?
No. It teaches specialist cleaning judgement and the limits of a cleanerās scope. It does not authorise roof access, electrical work, isolation or equipment repairs.
Does it repeat the original course?
No. The original covers general bird-fouling work. This course assumes those foundations and concentrates on the decisions that change around rooftop solar panels and equipment.
