Course Terms, Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or accessing any course. By purchasing any CCMTec online course, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Scope of These Terms

These terms apply to every online course, module, exam, certificate, bundle, focused skills course, free micro-course, and related learning material sold or provided by CCMTec LTD through CCMTec or CCMTec Academy (each a “Course”). This includes all Courses available now and any Course released in the future, whatever the subject.

Some Courses have their own course-specific terms covering matters such as exam format, pass marks, or specialist safety requirements. Where course-specific terms exist, they apply alongside these terms. If the two conflict, the course-specific terms apply to that Course only.

2. Course Access

Access is normally granted automatically shortly after payment is confirmed, and an access email is sent to the email address used at checkout. If you have not received access within 24 hours of purchase, please check your spam folder and then contact us at sales@ccmtec.co.uk so we can resolve it promptly.

Access is for the purchasing individual only and may not be shared, transferred, or resold. You are responsible for having a suitable device and internet connection. We may suspend or remove access where these terms are breached.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Our Courses are digital content. When you purchase, you request immediate access and confirm that you understand your 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 ends once access to the Course begins. Change-of-mind refunds are therefore not available after access has been granted.

If you believe a Course is faulty or not as described, please contact us before taking any other action. We will look into it and, where appropriate, repair or replace the content or offer a price reduction in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Any goodwill or partial refund we choose to offer is made without admission of fault and, once accepted, settles the matter it relates to.

4. Problems & Complaints

If you have any problem with a Course, including access, content, or your certificate, email sales@ccmtec.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 working days and will work with you to put things right. We ask that you contact us first so we have the opportunity to resolve your concern directly.

5. Certificates & CPD

Where a Course includes an exam, a digital certificate is issued when the required pass mark for that Course is achieved. Certificates confirm completion of a CCMTec training course and are issued for educational purposes. They may be suitable for your CPD portfolio and support your continuing professional development. They are not a licence, regulatory approval, or qualification recognised by any statutory or awarding body, and we cannot guarantee acceptance by any employer, client, insurer, or authority.

6. Educational Purposes Only

All Courses are provided for educational and informational purposes. Content provides general guidance on cleaning, restoration, health and safety, chemical use, equipment operation, business practice, and related industry topics. It does not constitute legal, health and safety, regulatory, insurance, or technical advice tailored to your specific circumstances, and it is not a substitute for a site-specific risk assessment.

7. No Guarantee of Results

CCMTec LTD makes no guarantee that completing any Course will result in any particular outcome, including employment, business success, income, or professional competency. Real-world cleaning and restoration outcomes depend on many factors outside the scope of any Course.

8. Student Responsibility

You, the student, are solely responsible for:

• Applying course content safely and appropriately in real-world situations
• Complying with all applicable legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002
• Carrying out your own risk assessments before undertaking any work
• Checking the suitability of any chemical, technique, or equipment for the specific surface, material, or environment you are working on, including carrying out appropriate tests first
• Using suitable personal protective equipment
• Obtaining any licences, training, insurance, or certifications required for the work you carry out
• Holding adequate public liability insurance before carrying out any commercial work

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCMTec LTD, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from or in connection with:

• Your use of, or reliance on, any information contained within any Course
• Any damage to property, surfaces, materials, furnishings, or equipment resulting from techniques or chemicals described in any Course
• Any injury to you or any third party in connection with work you undertake following any Course
• Any loss of business, revenue, profit, or goodwill
• Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in course content

Our total liability to you in connection with any Course shall not exceed the price you paid for that Course. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Chemicals, Products & Equipment

References to specific chemicals, products, machinery, or equipment in any Course are for educational guidance only and do not represent an endorsement. Always read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions, safety data sheets, and your COSHH assessment before use. Never mix chemicals without confirming compatibility.

11. Accuracy & Course Updates

We take reasonable care to keep course content accurate, but industry standards, products, and legislation change. We may update or improve Courses over time. Updates will not materially reduce the content described at the time of your purchase. You are responsible for checking that any information you act on is current.

12. Intellectual Property

All course content, including text, images, diagrams, videos, templates, downloads, and exam questions, is the intellectual property of CCMTec LTD and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, share, or resell any part of any Course without our prior written permission.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
