CCMTec LTD
Flood & Water Damage Restoration Course
Terms & Conditions and Disclaimer — please read carefully before purchasing.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing and accessing the Flood & Water Damage Restoration Course, or any tier thereof ("the Course"), you ("the Student") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not access the Course. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and CCMTec LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. These terms apply equally to the Foundation Course, the Practitioner Add-On, the Advanced Add-On, and the Full Bundle.
2. Course Tiers & Access
The Course is offered in three tiers: Foundation (Modules 1–10), Practitioner Add-On (Modules 11–14), and Advanced Add-On (Modules 15–18). Access is granted only to the tier(s) purchased. The Practitioner Add-On and Advanced Add-On are supplementary products intended to be used in conjunction with the Foundation Course. CCMTec LTD makes no guarantee that add-on tiers will remain available for purchase at any given time. Access to each tier is granted to the purchasing individual only and is strictly non-transferable. It may not be shared, resold, or gifted to any third party. CCMTec LTD reserves the right to revoke access at any time if these terms are breached.
3. Payment & Pricing
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. All prices are displayed in GBP. VAT is applied where required by law. CCMTec LTD reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without notice. The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed at the time of transaction. Bundle pricing is available and represents a saving versus purchasing tiers individually; bundle pricing is subject to change at any time.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the entirely digital nature of this Course, no refunds will be issued once access has been granted to any tier. By completing your purchase and accessing the Course, you expressly acknowledge and agree to waive your right to a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as permitted where digital content has been made available with your prior consent. This applies to each tier purchased individually or as part of a bundle. This does not affect any other statutory rights you may have.
5. Certificates of Completion
A certificate of completion is issued digitally upon satisfactory completion of the end-of-tier exam for each tier purchased. Three certificates are available in total: Foundation, Practitioner, and Advanced. CCMTec LTD reserves the sole right to determine what constitutes satisfactory completion. Certificates are issued for educational purposes only and contribute towards CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours as follows: Foundation — 3 CPD hours; Practitioner (cumulative) — 4 CPD hours; Advanced (cumulative) — 5 CPD hours. Certificates do not constitute a professional licence, regulatory approval, or qualification recognised by any statutory body unless explicitly stated. CCMTec LTD makes no representation that any certificate will be accepted by any employer, client, insurer, loss adjuster, or regulatory authority.
6. Exam & Resubmission Policy
Each tier includes a separate self-marking multiple choice exam: Foundation — 30 questions, 70% pass mark (21/30); Practitioner — 35 questions, 75% pass mark (27/35); Advanced — 40 questions, 80% pass mark (32/40). Each exam is cumulative and covers all modules up to and including that tier. These standards are applied in line with CPD compliance requirements. Where a satisfactory result is not achieved, CCMTec LTD will contact the Student with feedback, and the Student is welcome to resubmit at no additional charge. CCMTec LTD reserves the right to limit the number of resubmissions at its discretion.
7. Educational Purpose & No Professional Advice
The Course is provided strictly for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing within the Course constitutes professional advice of any kind, including but not limited to legal, health and safety, regulatory, insurance, technical, or structural advice. The information provided is based on general industry practice and publicly available UK guidance at the time of writing. It is not a substitute for professional consultation, site-specific risk assessment, or compliance with applicable legislation. Flood and water damage restoration involves significant risks to health, safety, and property; the Student must always seek appropriate professional advice before undertaking any restoration work.
8. Disclaimer of Liability — Educational Content
CCMTec LTD, its directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, death, financial loss, regulatory penalty, reputational harm, or any other consequence — whether direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental — arising from or in connection with:
- The use or application of any information, technique, method, or recommendation contained within the Course;
- Reliance on Course content as a substitute for professional advice or site-specific assessment;
- Any error, omission, inaccuracy, or outdated information within the Course;

- Any action taken or not taken as a result of completing or not completing the Course or any tier thereof.
The Student accepts full and sole responsibility for all decisions made and actions taken in the course of their professional or personal activities, regardless of whether those activities relate to content covered in this Course.
9. Disclaimer of Liability — Flood, Water Damage & Property
CCMTec LTD accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage to property, structures, substrates, contents, or assets arising from the application of techniques, chemicals, equipment, or methods described within the Course. The Student acknowledges that flood and water damage restoration carries inherent risks — including but not limited to structural instability, electrical hazards, biological contamination, and secondary damage — and that outcomes are dependent on factors entirely outside CCMTec LTD's control, including but not limited to the extent of water damage, contamination category, building construction, substrate condition, equipment calibration, and operator skill and experience. The Student assumes all risk.
10. Disclaimer of Liability — Health & Safety and Biohazard Risks
Flood and water damage restoration may involve exposure to Category 2 (grey water) and Category 3 (black water/sewage) contamination, mould, asbestos-containing materials, structural hazards, and other serious health and safety risks. Course content relating to health and safety, PPE, COSHH, and biohazard response is provided for educational purposes only. CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for any injury, illness, disease, or death arising from exposure to hazardous materials or conditions encountered during restoration work, whether or not such risks are covered within the Course. The Student must conduct their own site-specific risk assessment and comply with all applicable legislation before undertaking any work.
11. Disclaimer of Liability — Insurance & Claims
Course content relating to insurance claims, loss adjuster interactions, scope of works, and documentation is provided for general educational purposes only. CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for any financial loss, underpayment, claim rejection, dispute outcome, or legal consequence arising from the application of any insurance-related guidance contained within the Course. The Student must seek independent professional advice in relation to any insurance matter.
12. Disclaimer of Liability — Third-Party Products & Equipment
The Course may reference specific chemicals, products, machinery, or equipment for illustrative purposes only. CCMTec LTD does not endorse any specific brand or product. CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for any damage, injury, or loss arising from the use of any product, chemical, or equipment referenced within the Course. Students must always consult the relevant Safety Data Sheet (SDS), manufacturer guidance, and applicable COSHH assessment before using any chemical or equipment.
13. Disclaimer of Liability — Legislation & Compliance
Course content references UK legislation and HSE guidance current at the time of writing, including but not limited to COSHH Regulations 2002, Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, PUWER 1998, Environmental Protection Act 1990, and IICRC S500 and S520 standards. Legislation and industry standards are subject to change. CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for any failure to comply with legislation or industry standards, whether or not such legislation is referenced within the Course. It is the Student's sole responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards at all times.
14. Intellectual Property
All Course content, including but not limited to text, images, diagrams, templates, downloadable resources, and exam questions, is the sole intellectual property of CCMTec LTD and is protected by copyright. Reproduction, redistribution, resale, sharing, or publication of any Course content — in whole or in part — by any means is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from CCMTec LTD. Breach of this clause may result in legal action.
15. Downloadable Resources
Downloadable PDF resources provided within the Course are licensed for the Student's personal professional use only. They may not be reproduced, redistributed, resold, or shared with any third party. CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any downloadable resource. All templates and documents are provided as general guides only and must be adapted to the specific requirements of each job, site, and applicable legislation.
16. Course Content Updates
CCMTec LTD reserves the right to amend, update, or remove Course content at any time without notice. While we endeavour to keep content current and accurate, we make no guarantee that content reflects the most recent legislative, regulatory, or industry developments at the time of access.
17. Force Majeure
CCMTec LTD shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing access to the Course arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, platform outages, or acts of God.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between CCMTec LTD and the Student in relation to the Course and supersede all prior representations, agreements, or understandings.
