Warranty Information

CCMTec Cleaning & Janitorial Supplies is a trading name of CCMTec LTD (referred to throughout this policy as “we”, “us”, or “CCMTec LTD”). CCMTec LTD acts solely as an authorised reseller of third-party branded products. We do not design, manufacture, or produce any of the products we sell, and accordingly we do not offer, provide, or accept liability under any product warranty. All warranty obligations rest entirely and exclusively with the relevant product manufacturer.

Nothing in this policy removes, limits, or affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation.

Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If a product is found to be faulty or not as described:

  • Within 30 days of purchase: you are entitled to a full refund.
  • Between 30 days and 6 months: you are entitled to a repair or replacement. If neither is possible or successful, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund.
  • After 6 months: the burden of proof shifts to you to demonstrate the fault existed at the time of purchase.

These rights exist independently of any manufacturer warranty and cannot be excluded or limited by CCMTec LTD.

Manufacturer's Warranty

Many products we sell are accompanied by the relevant manufacturer's own warranty. The existence, duration, scope, and terms of any such warranty are determined solely by the manufacturer and are entirely separate from your statutory rights and from any obligation of CCMTec LTD.

CCMTec LTD makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees of any kind in relation to manufacturer warranties. We accept no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the fulfilment, validity, or outcome of any manufacturer warranty claim. Any warranty claim must ultimately be resolved between you and the manufacturer in accordance with their terms.

Where we are able to assist, we will endeavour to liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf as a courtesy, but this does not constitute acceptance of any liability by CCMTec LTD.

  • Any manufacturer warranty constitutes a separate contract between you and the manufacturer, and CCMTec LTD is not a party to that contract.
  • Any assistance we provide in communicating with the manufacturer is offered strictly as a courtesy and does not imply responsibility, liability, or obligation on the part of CCMTec LTD.
  • Warranty coverage may be void if the product is not used, installed, or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's written instructions or product labelling.

For brand-specific warranty documentation, contact us at info@ccmtec.co.uk.

How to Report a Fault or Make a Warranty Claim

  • Do not return any item without contacting us first — unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
  • Email info@ccmtec.co.uk with your order number, a detailed description of the fault, and supporting photographs where possible.
  • We will review your report and advise on next steps. Where applicable, we will refer your claim to the manufacturer.
  • If a return is required, written confirmation will be provided before you send any item back.

Warranty Returns

Where a product must be returned for inspection, repair, or replacement, the cost of return postage is the customer's responsibility, except where CCMTec LTD is legally obligated to cover such costs under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We strongly recommend using a fully tracked and insured postal service. CCMTec LTD accepts no liability for items lost or damaged in transit on return.

Warranty Exclusions

No warranty — whether statutory, manufacturer, or otherwise — shall apply to defects or damage arising from any of the following, and CCMTec LTD accepts no liability in such circumstances:

  • Accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Fair wear and tear
  • Improper installation, operation, maintenance, or storage
  • Use contrary to manufacturer instructions
  • Unauthorised modification, alteration, or repair
  • Use of non-approved accessories or parts
  • Consumable components (filters, pads, brushes, belts, etc.) unless damaged due to a proven manufacturing defect

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CCMTec LTD shall not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive, or economic loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with any product sold, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of use, or business interruption, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of CCMTec LTD to you shall not exceed the purchase price paid by you for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits CCMTec LTD’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its own negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under English law.

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
