Learn to remove pet hair and address pet odour on end-of-tenancy jobs

A focused online course for self-employed cleaners and small teams working in pet-affected rental properties. Follow an actual job from the first property survey through hair removal, odour-source investigation, reinspection and handover.

What you will learn to do

• Survey each room and find hair trapped in edges, fittings, carpets and furnishings.
• Choose suitable tools and work in an order that captures hair without spreading it into finished rooms.
• Remove pet hair from hard floors, carpet pile, sofa seams and accessible furnishings while respecting material limits.
• Investigate suspected pet odour, clean accessible sources using material-appropriate methods and recognise when contamination may extend below the surface.
• Reinspect after drying, document limitations and give the agent or landlord a clear handover.

Course format

Six practical online modules and a ten-question scenario assessment. A score of at least 7 out of 10 is required for the CCMTec Academy course-completion certificate. There are no separate downloads; the methods are taught in the lessons.

This is a separate paid Focused Skills add-on to the End of Tenancy Cleaning course, not part of that course's purchase. No physical item is shipped. Some odours cannot be eliminated by surface cleaning where a source remains in underlay, subfloor or damaged porous material.
